Local bar got a case of vanilla. Caused a lot of issues because the owner was originally going to give them to the top 10 mug club people and was advertising it as first come first serve meaning only 2 bottles would be available. After some bad publicity he changed his tune. I'm in a group of about 10 guys I got the text to meet there and all of them were there with a few acquaintance too. I got lucky to get an 6 oz pour. Sorry if I looked like I'm trying to double dip

Was over in the "4 Elf Party" thread in the Great Lakes forum, and someone was asking about Dark Horse potentially having a Double Barrel PT5 this year. Can anyone confirm or deny this rumor? I thought I heard or read about it somewhere or from someone but can't remember.

Even if the DBPT5 rumor WAS indeed true, I'd think they'd have to limit it to a bomber or a few 4pks per person, no? Or else it'll be Huna Day all over again.

 

If it's true it would be at most probably a 4 pack limit, but more like a one bottle limit.

There is no cure for the seasonal Ursidae of Chicago. Unfortunately, it's a somewhat common strain. Typical exposure happens around mid August. Incubation period can be anywhere from 1-2 months depending on a number of factors, but generally the Interceptionue via Cutlerus is the primary culprit. Full fledged outbreak usually occurs in late November/December. Symptoms include high blood pressure, uncontrolled rage, temporary blindness, short term amnesia (long-term memory not affected. locals have been known to recall decades past, but recent year(s) somehow forgotten), and in almost all cases, alcoholism.

There is no vaccine, however the sticks of the Blackhawk tribe have been known to treat this illness for a number of months.

As mentioned above, it does not cure, but only allows the Ursidae of Chicago to lay dormant in hibernation till the it returns the following season to give the locals a false sense of hope...but do not be tricked by this ruse. That hope has been running rampant since '85.
