Wow, I'm seriously impressed that you caught that. Yes, they served water in Erlenmeyer Flasks. It was a little offputting, like they were trying to be a lot more edgy than they actually were, but everything else was great so I rolled with it. Especially the Calvados XO Apple Brandy.

 

Just got back from a sweet gig at a winery. Hoping to stay awake to toast @Mipper at midnight. Maybe beer will help me bridge the gap.

Worked all day and then did my 2014 taxes, figured I deserve a beer. Opened up this extra from a trade the other day, and, even though it's almost 2 months old, this beer is really nice! I can imagine that if it had more hop character it would be even better, but Jackie O's continues to impress!

 

That's not a bottle, silly! However I concur with your statements regarding it. I love that beer and while it's too common to trade for I'm always happy when my Ohio guys throw a can or two into a box.

I don't usually listen to "best by's" but my buddy Max loves saisons and brett and his bday was this past week. Brett has done its work in this. Holy carb though!
