Challenge excepted...but once the goldfish arrived the recipient would have to swallow it whole and alive to keep the challenge bottle!

It would be fair for me to send this challenge as I drank a goldfish at a wedding once and I don't believe in asking someone to do something you wouldn't do yourself.

Took my first stab at making some resin coasters. I like how they turned out, but there's definitely bubbles in them.

I have as well. They're fairly easy, but be prepared for them to take over if you don't tend to them. They are pretty invasive and can grow really fast.

Got my name down at the local homebrew store for some Cascade rhizomes in the spring. Excite!

Shoveling snow is as good as any exercise at the gym. If you don't have enough, just head east. I'll gladly buy you a beer when you get done with my driveway.

@jshusc So the wife and I along with the rest of the family are going to be in Charleston next Friday and Saturday for a wedding. We're staying at the Marriott Courtyard Waterfront... so far besides the wedding on Saturday, we are having dinner with my inlaws at "husk" on Friday at 630 ( any good for beers?)

Good sir, would you like to

    A) Grab a early mid day beer on saturday
    B) advise me to go to these places that are "walking distance from my hotel"

    Closed for Business
    Craftsmen Kitchen & Tap House
    Ted's Butcherblock
    The Charleston Beer Exchange

Thank you good sir in advance

Tonight I'm going to drink one of my biggest wants and my buddies BIGGEST want. We traded a case of fruited sours for it... It will be his 2,500 unique check-in. Is it 5 o clock yet?

I've learned that a lot of the time unfortunately we hype a beer so much in our heads that its almost impossible to do so. I've tried to temper my expectations, but I am excited thanks!

Wish I could. I live in Columbia, and the wife and I have tickets to see Avett Brothers Saturday in Columbia, so I probably can't make the 2 hour drive down. I think @jfstilling is headed to Omega Point release in Hickory, NC, so we'll have to catch you next time. That courtyard marriott has an incredible view of the waterfront. I've stayed there a ton of times, and I always find myself on their huge patio with a beer or a bourbon drink.

Husk is AWESOME. It has beer (and decent beer at that), but if you're into the brown water, it's bourbon menu is incredible. I'd go for the Michter's Special Batch, but they have an Eagle Rare small batch that delicious too. If you're a bourbon hound, don't be afraid to ask if they've got anything "special" off menu. I've had pappy there (32 bucks for a full pour, which really isn't that bad). Also, the fried pig's ear appetizer is one of the best things I've ever eaten.

Closed for Business - never been, but I've heard good things. It's the best craft beer bar in town outside of Edmunds Oast, which really is becoming a craft beer restaurant. I know this is where Jesse got CBS a few weeks ago.

Craftsmen - don't know much about

Ted's Butcherblock - outstanding deli. great sandwiches and good beer list. Cool spot.

CBX - best bottle shop in SC in my opinion. Great sours, belgians, and imports section. Always gets first look from Rafa Distributing which handles most of the super craft stuff we see. Westbrook usually partners with them on one-offs as well. You'll see plenty of COAST, Westbrook and other locals there. No onsite consumption though.

If you've got any other questions, let me know. Y'all have fun!
