@vange is the guy me and @jpsboom are friends with. He's the one that send a sample to @bruindre because Andrej is his trustee. He's got a ridiculous collection of PVW but I believe he's holding on to them until his kids are old enough for college and then he'll sell at the going rate. He looks at liquor as more of an investment. So not sure you'll really get much out of him other than a taster here or there.

im skipping the event, unfortunately. its probably going to be packed by the time i get there, and they had enough for 150 flights, over 50 of which were gone by 330 (tapped at 2), so you know all the other beer nerds are going to get there before me.

It is (according to Beer Advocate) literally the only beer brewed in Haiti, so I doubt there's a badge. Thanks for looking, just let me know tonight if you land it, so I can call @CTJman off so that you don't both buy it; a purchase in Boston would be preferable to avoid shipping cost.

Just keep in mind it's a low-rated imported AAL, so look near where they keep the Red Stripe and Presidente and Mexican stuff.

I don't think he was still wanting 10:1 with ddg included. He just asked if we could build around that bottle and I said no I'd rather try to get a quantity trade done first. Not sure what else he would have wanted with the ddg. Either way it's looking like those 10 bottles aren't close to getting an 11 framboos.

Fair enough, and I don't blame you for wanting to keep your DDG, but I'll give the guy benefit-of-the-doubt that he would've made a fair offer, just not based on your posted FT; not ideal but personally I would call it "worth a shot". In any case, the current 10 bottle list or otherwise, good luck landing your wale.

 

I hate even doing trades like this. I just threw it up to see what would happen. I can definitely put those ten bottles to good use if it doesn't work out.
