    Perfect timing for a reminder about the pumpkin tasting (and any other beers @Houser @zekeman17 @Tertullian007 and others pilfer from my cellar!...................the doors will be wide open!!)

    4:00 Saturday! I have begun the cooking process with things that can be done ahead of time.....such as the chili sauce for my chili

    Jumping away from football and baseball for a minute.
    Kind of sad, tonight is the first Flyers home opener I haven't been at since 1995, and only the 3rd one I've missed since 1977.
    There is only a handful of you guys that were even born in 1977, isn't there.
    Now I'm even sadder.

    It is a long season and now I feel like a jerk because before you guys taught me about Hockey I never knew it was in season till the stanley cup. I really need to broaden my knowledge of things.
