Went to a buddy's wedding in Asheville. Wicked weed black angel and garçon de ferme were cocktail hour offerings. Homebrew IPA and blueberry saison with pisgah, Asheville brewing company and Hi-wire on draft for the reception. Good times.

How was Garcon de ferme?

 

Great. Not the best peach sour I've had by any means, but it's one of the more reasonably priced beers from Wicked Weed.

 

Lucky me, @emottram is about to have a kid at Cornell. So he'll be in my neck of the woods quite a bit over the next 4 years. Here's us draining KBS on tap at a local bar. Eric, thanks for the brews. "Just a little something from New England," my butt.

 

@Eziel and everyone else, my apologies for holding onto Mr. Dickbutt for so damned long. I was waiting for the one local/recent top 250 beer to come back out. And once it did, it turned out that it was no longer "recent" top 250. It'll have to do, though.

To make up for it, I've sent the box on quite the journey.



Dickbutt is definitely not worth the $11 that it took to ship one bottle, but what are you gonna do?

That KBS looks a little watered down

Great to hear that the box is on the move!! And Hello! You too @emottram , miss all the action around these parts..

We should do a BIF round for maybe late May or early June? We could focus on putting together a decent box of local options to accommodate our target's favorite warm weather activities - mowing, sitting in the back yard, golfing, boating, camping, post-run carb load ups, etc. That should be easy to do. We could label it something like a "Save yourself a trip to the beer store" BIF or something because that is what it would amount to. Instead of me grabbing a 6 pack of Mystic Mama, a 4 pack of Bodhi and a couple Rhinegeist bombers, my target would send similar from their local selection roughly - with the SWTFYW always open and always trying to hit wants etc.

Might be the glass? I'm not really a big KBS fan but couldn't pass it up. I thought it tasted better than from the bottle, although I haven't bought bottles in a few years
