SXSW -- trades, sharing, drinking?

    Hello Austin folk. As I'm sure many of you have grown weary of the madness that is SXSW, please bear with me.

    I'm coming from denver. I'll be in town by tuesday morning. I'll be with my radical lady friend. We have a car and bikes. Anyone care to meet up? Anyone need any bottles from my area?

    Just curious. Lemme know!

    Anything crooked stave, russian river, and avery sours should help you make friends real quick.

    Yup, we can probably do that.

    Crooked Stave is a bit dry right now in the shops. Two saisons available. They have a good taste.

    Yes, I'm off Thursday and Friday and expect to be at the free day shows.

    Recommendation: Hit up the downtown beer bars (Gingerman, Easy Tiger) for good beer and a respite from the madness. Especially Easy Tiger - it's perfectly situated pretty close to the Red River action but has a serene beer garden.

    Just FYI, there will be an unofficial day show at Easy Tiger on Friday and possibly other days this week. It will probably be just as crazy there as any other bar on/around 6th street.

    Easy Tiger is closing tonight (bake shop and beer garden) at midnight until Sunday. They'll have SXSW all week. I'm not entirely sure if they'll be selling their regular beer or switching over to a sponsorship beer like Miller Lite.

    Oh man that blows. I went there last year without any issues and enjoyed good food and beer without hassle at all. Maybe whole foods bar will be better then.

    I could maybe swing by a couple of stores on the way out of town. The only Crooked Stave around right now (even at the 'brewery') are two saisons, Vielle & Surette. They are good, though. Send me a message.
