my son is a brewer and we were interested in this system as an added choice for customers in tap room
be aware there customer service is lacking and they do not respond to emails
keep this in mind when you order one I have 2 emails to them and have not received a reply

Great idea except for the cartridges. Why not just make system that fits traditional glass growlers? I'd buy one. Instead I had to make my own, but I'd pay the 300 or 500 or whatever they're asking for this thing.

This string began with the home brewers seeing this as another long way around (too expensive) and then some more marketing astute individuals trying to identify the reality of the "craft/microbrewery market. Who point out that they don't see
anything here that hasn't already been tried, with some serious marketing behind it. This is a regulated ,taxed and retailed market that would/will develop a standard for this, if it is marketable. And finally a slew of "image/lifestyle comments about
bags, plastic, some tree hugging and the last 50 years of beer commercial lifestyle brain washing. I to, like my glass bottle; get irritated by people drinking warm beer from plastic cups at baseball games and think beer from plastic bags should have a better chance than wine did. Maybe the tap on a nice stainless steel enclosure can pull that off. But is this "almost 12 pack" that much cheaper and/or convenient than putting 12 labelled "image/lifestyled" glass bottles in the fridge we already have ?

Reality is it's probably more expensive on a beer to beer basis - but usually fresher, especially if filling at the brewery. This is more a freshness/convenience play than a budget play (imo). I have an edgestar mini-kegerator that I've modified to fit growlers and it doesn't save me any money, just gets me fresh beer on tap without having to commit to a massive amount of one beer and without having to drink the whole growler in one sitting (not that I don't do that on occasion with help).
