Has anyone used a large syringe (~150 ml) to transfer beer to bottles? I have a couple one gallon batches and was going to bottle carb them with carb. I was thinking it might be less chance for oxidation.

I would advise against doing that, it will oxygenate the beer much more than traditional bottling techniques.

I used plastic tip syringes to evenly squirt priming solution into bottles before filing them with beer. The two batches tasted awful.
