T.R.E.A.T. - is it around SoCal?

Define "SoCal".

I've saw it in a few of the specialty shops in San Diego last year, though I've not seen it at all this year. Since we saw some Berserker (well, enough that I could find in on shelves for a few days), I know that it isn't a Midnight Sun distribution thing. Maybe it already came and went - it isn't really on my radar. I liked enough that I'd buy it if I saw it, but not to seek it out.

 

Hacienda Beverage has some on the shelf. Pick up a bottle of Panty Peeler while you are at it.

 

Where in "SoCal"? Kind of a large place.

 

"Out and about" varies between regions in California. A beer may be "out and about" in San Diego but not Orange County.

And it's not even a comparison to NG VSB.

 

What city in Orange County? This is a serious question. We could name places but it might be 30 - 40 miles from her place and still be in Orange County.

These three places carry Midnight Sun products, I'd try calling them:
Hacienda Beverage (Brea, CA)
Hi-Time Wine Cellar (Costa Mesa, CA)
Provisions Market (Orange, CA)

Midnight Sun has odd distribution in that large places (like Total Wine, BevMo and Whole Foods even) don't receive their beers down here, so it's limited to smaller bottle shops. Even then, it's hit or miss if a particular shop carries midnight sun. Their beers are very good, but also very expensive in comparison to other beers in the same style, which has more to do with trucking ingredients to Alaska and then shipping it back, hence the beer does not always move.

 

Where at in OC? Not sure why this is such a difficult question, or secret answer, but we can help you out if you're more specific.

 

Treat is hitting next week

 

I just picked up a bottle of T.R.E.A.T at Number One Liquor Mart in Redondo Beach.

I tossed the receipt but I'm pretty sure it was $14.99.

I chatted up the cashier and he said it was a batch from last year, but he didn't sound very confident.

 

Most likely was the batch from last year. They were pretty stingy with it at first, but later on after it's hype died down, a lot of it showed up in various shops and just sat there.

Add to that, this year's, as said above, hasn't hit yet.

 

Anyone see any around LA? Probably not, but would be dopeee

 

Vendome should get it. I scooped some of last year's when I was in town back in June.

We have a couple cases from last year that we are putting out this week. Expecting this year's to be out either this week or next.
