Bourbon County would be the best news i've heard in a while. Still, even if they do come, they'll test the waters for at least a year before bringing in the good stuff.

Juliet was just approved on 4-04, so someone at GI is actively applying for beers to be approved to TX. If anything comes of it we will see, but the countdown is on.

Quick question, do they have to put their initial fee of 2k or whatever ridiculous price in order to submit labels or can they do this before that? Wonder if they are seeing how many they can get approved before paying up

They do not, at least not anymore. When GI was in Texas, about 5-6years ago maybe. Just the website for that establishment does not update per region.

I really hope this website is inaccurate... I've found a couple of beers that were just released that do not show label approval from TABC on here.

Just searched both and Saranac pulled up a few but none of the Shmaltz stuff and Releta returned no results...I'm not sure their search engine is accurate.

the search function has been worthless for me as well. i just scrolled back through a few months, looking at all results. all the schmaltz beers are on there.

Make sure you're searching under trade name instead of brand name.
