$79.99 for TNP, $119.99 for Bismark. Those are cash/debit/check prices. You'll pay a few dollars more if you use a credit card.

In the UK Brewdog are selling TNP for £35/$54 at present

They don't appear to be selling STB at the moment

Last time I looked it was about £42/$64 but we have been hit by higher taxes on stronger beers here in the UK in the last year or two

Never had TNP but was in the Euston Tap, London last year on a BD promo night where a rep had a few bottles of STB and was giving out 1 oz samples

Had one - hmmmm. I could drink it no problems, I could appreciate the flavour but a whole bottle and pay for it !

Nooooo. Maybe a 5 way split as touched on above!

This beer is pure shit! Those that claim it's good have serious taste bud problems. It smells like nail polish removerand tastes like kerosene up front and cigarette ashes on the back end. There is absolutely no justification for paying/trading anything for this. Easily the worst beer to pass my lips.

If people are buying it there must be a justification for it - in their opinion. We might say that it's because they just want to try it, we might say that they have more money than sense, but if people want something and have the money to buy it, they will. I've split a bottle of Penguin with four friends and it was worth it to me/us, and I've been to a tasting where there was some Bismarck. I'm glad I got to try both of them. Your results may vary.

Both are disgusting. I nearly finished off my little glass out of pride but could not, its disgusting taste beat me. I would recommend buying a non gimmick beer off Ebay which you know is great, trading international, or investing in Facebook before going to Specs or wherever and spending this much money on a single 12oz. My 2 cents.

I love Scotch, and TNP does not come close. Ash, plastic, tar, rubber, blah. There is no comparison, even to the ultra peaty Scotches.

Ticking a beer just for ticking sake doesn't justify wasting your money, imo, especially with swill like this. Come on folks, really...the emperor has no clothes!!!

To each his own. Good beer, IMO. I enjoy the peat smoke...I enjoy the roasty, coffee-like finish.

I guess polarizing in the since that people here can't tell a crappy beer from a good one, or gimmick from a brewery putting actual time and craft into making something they thing is good. It is one thing for a brewery, say DFH, that does something experimental they think is good, but not well received by some people because it is not to their tastes. Compare that to the immature dick waving that is BrewDog when they just ice distill a beer to whatever alcohol % they want without thought to what it actually tastes like. In the end, it really does not matter because when you mention anything from BrewDog it is polarizing. I guess a lot of people have bought into whatever crap they happen to be selling hook line and sinker.

    End rant.
