I just got back from the White Sox game. I was tailgating with Red Stripe and Bud Light. My group was parked up against the back lot with a fence behind us so I got to see a whole bunch of beers that were thrown over. It was crazy to see some good brews that were drunk. I also looked over at the people next to me and they were drinking zombie dust and gumballhead out of the bottle. Well, just wanted to know what is the best tailgating beer you have drank?

I only tailgate with Black Tuesday. Keep it classy.

The best tailgating beer is the beer that is available. I've brought zombie dust to tailgates before though so that's probably the best i've drinken.

One year average age difference makes a team old? Someone is on the OKC Kool-Aid... Here in Texas we drink St. Arnolds or Real Ales since they can be found in 6 & 12 packs. Special occasions call for Jester King.

I would probably just bring whatever fun beer is in my fridge, probably some surly or something similar, if there were a few BAs with probably something from the cellar too, but I have never tail gated.

Drink the same stuff you would at a cookout; on Memorial Day that was some 2007 Abbey de St Bon Chein, Berliner Style Weisse Brett Lambicus Special, Bambic, HF What is Enlightenment, Hoponius Union, FFF Behemoth among others. Just whatever is around at the time.

We don't tailgate before games here (we just go to the local pub) but.....Chimay Blue? Seems odd in the circumstances!

It might seem odd but Chimay Blue is always a excellent choice. The Red and White are also. Drink the flag Red ,White and Blue!

I usually tailgate with a mix of stuff... Bell's, Stone, Miller Lite. Also if I have any beer samples that have expired by accident.

Last year (I tailgate @ the gamecocks games in SC) I had a case of Pliny. We would bring one to every game and drink it if they won. Gamecocks had a great season.

I bring a variety of beers as I have people stopping by my tailgate and want to have an array of beers there. I usually have bmc beer for friends and I'll drink some variety of sierra Nevada. I try not to get too many high ABV beers do I won't want to take a nap during the game! Damn I can't wait for football season now!

My favorite time of the year is December tailgating before Arizona Cardinal games with all those wonderful winter brews we get and enjoying a nice sunny 65 degree day. Probably the best we have busted out is a three year old bottle of Abyss the last few years. This would be on a day that we would also sample Great Divide Hibernation, SN Celebration, and Lagunitas Sucks. I agree with rackowski, i can't wait for football season!

I have tailgated every year for every game at Reliant for the Houston Texans, season tickets since the first game, and our usual group is pretty set. But at the cowboys game (youtube the brawl) I went with a few people i didn't know and brought 12 OE Cans. Sad I know, but before discovering good beer it was whiskey, lone star, or oe and that was it. I walk up with 2 6 packs of oe cans and find myself at an all african american tailgate with over 20 people there and went to throw my beer in the ice chest. I was a bit nervous, but everyone literally went nuts and treated me like it was the funniest thing in the world for a white boy to bring oe. Shout out to Texans fans we are all the same love yall super bowl next year!!!!
