I'll be staying downtown and I'll be there for four nights. Which bars do I have to go to and where's a good beer store? Does anyone know of a store that will ship?

Looks like your post slipped in without any responses (was it originally posted somewhere besides US-Northwest?)...

See this thread for helpful advice (the 'where to go to Portland?' question gets asked often): http://beeradvocate.com/community/threads/visiting-portland.61551/

If you're only in downtown, by sure to hit Bailey's Taproom and Deschutes Brewery. There really aren't any bottle shops in downtown, but Whole Foods at W Burnside/12th has a very good selection and Pearl Specialty and Caps & Corks are both a reasonable distance (take streetcar for easiest access) into NW from downtown. If you go to Caps & Corks, you can also stop into Bridgeport (beers aren't very diverse, but it's one of the 'original' NW craft brewers) or Lucky Lab on NW Quimby. Otherwise, branch out and go to some of the places in SE; Hair of the Dog and Cascade are a pretty short walk/ride across Morrison Bridge and many others are a short bus/cab ride away.

Bottle shops: Belmont Station, The Beermongers, Saraveza, Bridgetown Beerhouse - also many groceries (Whole Foods, New Seasons, Zupan's, Fred Meyer) have pretty extensive beer coolers... I don't know of any that will shipo for you, however. You'll need to get box(es) and packing materials and ship on your own...

    Cheers,
    Brian
