When I went to school there I don't remember there being crap. But that was also when I was drinking 'heavy' beer named Newcastle Surely I wasn't looking for the right shops.
Market Square Liquor has a big selection of wine, beer, etc. I haven't been in town for years, and lived there before I got into craft, but I remember them as having quite a selection.
After two months of living here ive found my favorites are proof brewing co and the fermentation lounge/market/cider lounge. Fermentation is smaller but has a better big bottle selection esp. Cigar city (they still have marshal zhukov, batch 69), there prices are typically better as well. Proof has more mainstream stuff and carries vastly more 6 packs but the bottles move a little faster. If your interested in doing an ip trade or grabing a beer shoot me a bm.
I'd love to make an IP trade, but we will be in and out very quickly, and we haven't been back in almost 10 years, so I don't think there will be time. I'm gonna just have to hit up one spot for beer (and make it quick) for the same reason. Thanks for the suggestions, though. How is the selection at Liquor Loft?
