I'm not in the distribution, but I'll drop in just to say that Ethos is hella tasty

For real. Very often overlooked, and it should be in the discussion of best DIPAs I believe.

Can't wait to be in AR at the end of the month. Gonna tear up some Tallgrass.

I have to admit I was wrong on this. Just talked with someone there and the plan for sours in the future is true! They want to get the barrel aged beers off the ground first, and then start sours. What fantastic news! It will be awhile before anything sour is released form them, but at least its in the works!

What I was told is that the sour beers are starting now, but it will be 18-24 months before any of them will be ready, most likely. Their barrel aged beers will be ready much sooner.

Tallgrass has always been pretty "meh" for me, and if Oasis (the one thing I consistently enjoyed from them) is done, man, I don't know...

I really think it is time that Tallgrass started distributing in NJ/NY.

Here is the first peak at the new 19.2oz cans that Tallgrass will be packaging their barrel-aged beers in. As you can see from the photo on the left, the first release will be Wooden Rooster, which is their regular Velvet Rooster Belgian Tripel, that's been aged in Rye Whiskey barrels. This first barrel-aged canned release will hit distribution at the end of April. Stoked!
