Haven't been in yet, but I've walked by and it looks like a nice place: http://www.spokane7.com/blog/2015/mar/01/tamarack-takes-root/ Interesting idea, featuring a brewery at a time rather than the usual mishmash of beers from all over.
Agreed. But, I have to wonder whether there is a reason folks go to a pub vs. a tasting room. I will enjoy seeing someone mix it up with the distributors though.
I think there's going to be other beers available as well that are non-local, and by local they mean the immediate area, not the PNW as a whole. Plus, they'll have food all the time, rather than depend on the whims of local food trucks, so that sets it apart from most local tasting rooms right there. I plan to check it out this weekend.
I've been a few times. Beautiful space and the food was good. I had the lamb sliders and 2 of the pizzas. It's a great addition to the down town food scene.
