Tampa/St Pete Beer Friends

    This probably isn't a typical post, or may be in the wrong location, so feel free to redirect me if that's the case.

    I moved to St Pete about a year ago, and have had almost zero luck finding anyone interested in meeting up/doing bottle shares. While a few guys reached out, they are entirely unreliable or simply don't respond when I ask about getting together.

    I'm sure this isn't a unique problem, but I've got way too much beer and nobody to drink it with! So I'm looking to find anyone interested in making that happen. I'm flexible on weekends to move about the area, or host here in St Pete. Not necessarily looking to slay whalez every weekend but definitely want to drink some good stuff! Would also happily join an existing group if you've got room (and can send along a cellar list, if you're so inclined).

    Access to:
    • Brothers Craft Brewing Horizon Society (think Resolute)
    • Bruery Reserve Society
    • CCB El Cat
    • Rare Barrel Ambassadors of Sour
    • Friends in high places: Seattle, San Diego, STL, Chicago, Richmond/Virginia Beach, RTPs scattered all over

    There is a bottle share at Hops and Props every Monday evening. It's a great way to meet people and share some beers. Also, shoot me a message and I can invite you to a local fbook group where you'll have much better luck finding shares and such.

    There used to be a group that met at SixTen, sharing a couple of bottles here and there. You could at least ask if you can't find anything else.

    I'm in. Just moved to Tampa from Boston, most of my cellar is still there but I have some bottles with me. Heck, even if you want to meet up a brewery to check out some beers let me know. Always down.

    Just moved to St. Pete in April. Currently out of the country, but will return end of October. Totally up for bottle shares, or just grabbing a beer or two!

    Hey all! In town for Zwanze. At Hops and Props and found out about the bottle share. I'll be here for Monday's share, October 3rd. Not sure how it works but I'll bring some goodness. Anyone else going?

    Anyone going to the bottle share on Monday at hops and props? I was thinking about going. Also if anyone knows of anything else going on, please let me know I'll be in town all next week.

    I am on my way down to Tampa as we speak. While I'll be residing in the Brandon area I have no issues attending a share anywhere in the area as long as I can properly plan for it.

    Cellar is decent, mostly Texas and California offerings.. A handful of JK fruited sours, few bottle logics, bruery ba stuff, 3 floyds, Pelican, ect. Looks like I'll start at Hops and Props but if anyone knows of other locations or different days of the week, I'm also interested.
