Yes, you should have concerns. You will wanna Uber back late night from Coppertail to Ybor proper.

I haven't heard any meaningful updates about 7venth Sun on this side of the bridge.

 

You might have a good distance between a hotel in ybor and coppertail. Ybor isn't the safest place to be walking around late at night

 

Ybor is fine to walk around at night in the 7th-9th area. The area between Coppertail and there can get a little sketchy, but it's cleaning up a bit. I'd still uber from there to the hotel.

 

The main sections of Ybor are okay but on the outskirts can be so-so. Take a Uber.

 

I've literally heard nothing about 7th sun since march... in march it was supposed to open in April. I'm guessing that it either isn't going to happen or shit is real fucked up. 7th sun has a rep,of being the worst at organization.

And yes, definitely take an uber.

Check out angry chair, the independent, the mermaid and jug and bottle depot which are all in Seminole heights.

Or, less dramatically, that it simply takes much longer to get anything done in Tampa -- and particularly in the Seminole Heights area -- than it should. Angry Chair was also "right around the corner" for a L-O-N-G time while the city dithered over plumbing, parking, etc.

 

I asked about it in August when I was at the Dunedin location and they said spring 2017. And then said we hope.

 

Talked to someone at 7th Sun in early December and they are still meeting with Bankers trying to get a loan to complete The Seminole Heights Brewery so they are a long way from opening if ever...no idea how they thought they were opening in Spring 16 when they did not have financing in order,but as we all know a lot of Brewers are not the best Business People
