Tap Handle Collectors-Question

    I saw one of these on ebay for $99.00. Can it really be worth that, or even close to that?

    It is worth whatever someone wants to pay for it. It might be rare, but it might also be rare because nobody liked that style and they didn't make many. Prices on tap handles are all over the place, in some cases on eBay you will find used handles being offered for more than it would cost to get a brand new one straight from the brewery. If I like a particular handle I will keep my eye on it and similar ones for a while to feel out the prices. If this particular one sells, no big deal there will be others.

    sounds reeeeeeeaaal steep to me. you could probably find several that aren't $99 that are just as cool and save some serious bucks and maybe find that one down the road for cheaper. It is pretty awesome, however.

    WATCH two or three of the same items if able even it takes a few months
    Never pull the trigger early

    Agreed. I have been pissed because I got outbid at $XXX, then a week later another will be posted and no one bids and I get it for half the price.

    Apparently this one is vintage and rare. I checked ebay for previously sold ones and there had been no recent sales on these. I found a guy who deals in tap handles and he told me that because of the rarity, to the right collector these are worth $50-115 depending on condition. I came across two of these in a Kegerator tower package I bought. And was looking for info when I found the one on ebay, so I am potentially selling. Looking at the sellers history, it looks like he has been trying to sell it for over a year. So I am not expecting to get anywhere near that for mine. When I get around to it I am just going to list one on ebay with a starting bid of $1.00 and see what happens.
