TAP NY 2013

BA recommends consuming at least 6-10 drinks per day leading up to a festival. I'm starting my training with a Founders Porter, then busting out the Brooklyn Silver Anniversary that's been chilling in the fridge.

Who's training with me? It's like The Biggest Loser, but we're drinking beer. And winning.

 

I like the Silver Anniv. It was better than expected actually.

 

I'm really liking it, especially as it warms up. I'm not so good at reviewing beers yet, but I'd say it's nice in a subtle way. At first I thought I didn't get my money's worth, but you know what? It's pretty smooth and nice.

 

Everybody remember, lotsa water, and we always heavily bacon and cheese it up beforehand. Gonna be a lot of great beer and we all will do better if we can drink what we want and still enjoy them. I haven't been able to "train" properly this week at all, but hope to try some of every beer I enjoy.

Also, hope the food is as great as it was last year, def. the best year yet for food quality and quantity.

Will look for BA's at Schmaltz at the end of day, think we'll be a foursome, maybe bring a bottle or two of my own NY beer to share.

 

I'll plan for the BA meet-up at Schmaltz as well towards the end of the day sat.

Anyone else staying at scribner hollow? It'd be cool to have a few beers afterwards on sat and/or sunday

 

The food theme this year is "best of" - the favorites of past TAP events.

 

Remember to say "Swordfish" to Adam or Justin. You will be rewarded. I tried this beer, it is fucking delicious!!!!
