My wife and I have attended this event 5 times since 2012. We missed last year but 2 years ago, when the resort was purchased by another group we noticed a significant drop in the amount and quality of food available and on Sunday (we used to do the two day pass) many breweries were out of beer and packed up and went home early. Unfortunately the fest got so big that it just wasn’t the same as it was when we first started going (so many breweries are in that massive dusty tent now, etc$

Gotcha. I'll admit, I have no clue what it is like from an attendee perspective. Last two years were ok from what i saw. Not discounting your experience man. Sucks but I totally get it!

Definitely going to be a muddy one today. Plus I was really excited to wake up to 37 degrees, snow (which looks to stick around all day now) and 25 mph winds. Oh well, the beer shall keep me warm.

Welp events conspired to keep me from attending this year after all but sounds like maybe for the better.

For those who attended can we have a report? What session did you do, how was the beer and food, highlights etc?

Saturday, regular admission...thought the beers were really good this year....tried a lot and only 2 or 3 clunkers...crowded, but almost never waited for a pour....food was below average, imo...cold and windy weather, but we dressed appropriately so it was never a bother

As usual, I had a blast. Yea the weather sucked and it was definitely really fkn cold for the end of April but that was a slight inconvenience. Most of the beers I tried were good to great. Maybe 2 beers I poured out over 4 hrs. Food was basic but by the time I ate I was already pretty innebriated so I didnt mind (I made up for it by making bolognese at the house after).

Also walked away with countless (probably too many) bottles of bbq sauce, hot sauce and marinades.

All in all, it was well worth it this year, as always. Also hit up Suarez on my way up so that was a plus!
