I am debating attending this weekend. Anyone ever attended or plan on going this year? Is it worth the $50 price tag? Ample beer/food?

I went last year and I really enjoyed it. Expect a lot of the usual suspects, in terms of beer. That's not to say the beer selection was bad, but it wasn't anything crazy either. If I remember correctly, a lot more vendors took drink tickets than at other events (such as the beer festivals), but it still wasn't an issue. I suspect if you run out of tickets they'll give you more as long as you're not stupid drunk.

The food itself was really good for the most part - Lemon Grass in particular had these asian style buffalo wings that were just absolutely mind blowing. There were no bad lines to speak of, everything moved pretty fast.

I think overall it's worth the $50, especially if you've never been to the MOST before since you get to walk around all the displays and everything. It's a fun couple hours of eating and drinking as much as you want (more or less) and it goes to a good organization, so why not?

Any sense of what breweries will be there?

We'll be there pouring Apricot Wheat, Partly Sunny, Pale Ale, Cascazilla, Flower Power and maybe a surprise or two. This is always a solid event as it steers away from the usual 'brew fest' kind of crowds. I have no idea of the other breweries that'll be in attendance however.

    Cheers!
