Yes. If he has a car, check out Surdyks across the river, and North Loop Wine and Spirits. Also, Fulton is a block or two away from the field, and I believe they still do growlers

Don't forget paying your entire seasons price for a single all-star game strip in a couple weeks :stuck_out_tongue: or 3 times that if you're me with a 20 game pack in the cheap seats. Don't care I'm excited, main reason I've had my ticket pack for uh 5 years now...that and I like baseball.

Same ticket package as I  I'm giving away my April 10th game to my buddy who just moved back from Japan. He's never been to the stadium.

I'm 305 Row 11. I really need to move down some year but I'm lazy :stuck_out_tongue: we should meetup for a beer sometime. I'll be at the game on the 15th for sure.

I know that I am going to be at a few games out in left field, 100 level. Any idea what the best place is out there? Don't mind hopping levels and/or a few sections for good beer; I just can't do the complete opposite side of the place.

No clue. The location of specific beers, especially with additions & subtractions, tend to move around other than that one location. Take a stroll! It's an awesome place to roam if it isn't too crowded...not much chance of that right now.

Ha, we are in 307 towards the top and have been since the beginning, too lazy to move down too. The only reason we have kept them is for the all star game as well. Next year we will just pick out a few random games and have guys nights in better sections.

Sweet Indeed is at the ball park. I like drinking Daytripper and I wish Hopdish was at the ballpark.

can we assume $6.50 for a 12 ounce Indeed can poured into a plastic cup (similar to other local 12 ouncers like Liftbridge)?

while I like both of those beers, I feel like there are plenty of adequate local hoppy options available. I wish they would do a better job of bringing in a better variety of local options on tap. I would love a nice glass of hefeweizen on a hot sunny day, or schell-shocked radler on a really hot july day.

A little intel from opening day:
    • No Furious as of now, also no Goose Island IPA
    • New Stuff: Surly Overrated ($9 20 oz. - best current deal in my opinion), Dale's Pale Ale (butcher & boar stand), 312 Pale Ale ($9 24 oz.), Indeed Day Tripper & Midnight Rider ($6.50 12 ounce can - not the same stand as Surly)
    • Bender, Hell, Saga, Schells GooseTown, Liftbridge Farm Girl all still around
Also, make sure to clearly specify the 312 PALE ALE over the 312 WHEAT ALE as some pouring aren't aware of the similarity in name but difference in beer apparently.

Did they also have Shenanigans? I saw someone tweet a picture of a can at the stadium.

Loved seeing Overrated on tap last night! It's a smaller cup than the 16oz pours of domestic beer and for $9.00 wasn't really thrilled about that. Miss the 16oz pours of Bandwagon something fierce!

Glad to find this thread, anyone want to add on any bottle shops/liquor stores around Mall Of America? Or will all the ones downtown be good enough? I'm staying at the radisson and it's my first time in the city.

Cellars in Eagan right off of Cliff Rd. and 77 has a decent selection - 10 minutes from the MOA.
