What's going on over at Tustin Brewing Co? Alpine tap take over? I thought I read somewhere that the two got together for a collaboration. But haven't heard anything since. A list of Alpine beers are on over at TBC.

They just tapped Captain Stout, Duet, Nelson, and McIlhenney's Irish Red.

Can people please stop using abbreviations in the titles of their posts. Your provincial inner circle that uses a common shorthand is not everyone's.

Yeah, I thought this was about the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control or something.

Was at TBC early in the day with a buddy, got to try nelson for the first time and that's a great tasting beer. They were making a chocolate milk stout in the process adding chocolate but I don't think that had anything to do with a potential collaboration.

Nelson kicked early. Put on Alpine Ale. Happy Birthday goes on when duet runs out.

Nelson, Duet and Happy Birthday are the GF version. Not Alpine but very close. Still good enough.

Also it ruins it for people trying to search for a post.

Got word that all the Alpine beers on draft at Tustin were brewed at GF. They are now brewing the Ale, Capt Stout and Irish Red on top of Duet, Nelson and H Bday. Looks like eventually GF will be brewing all Alpine (soon to be GF?) beers. But Alpine will move to a new location for a tasting room only where you can purchase bottles/growler fills. I don't think you'll be able to purchase bottle/growler fill of Alpine stuff at GF. Changes are a coming for Alpine beers. I hope it's not major changes.
