What kind of tea? That's as vague as saying "is there any x that tastes like beer"

Even within black, or within green there are half a dozen completely distinct tea regions that have nothing in common. Try a good Yunnan next to a 2nd flush Darjeeing. Same colour, both black, but absolutely nothing alike.

Just grab a couple nitro cans of Tetley's pub ale, a classic English mild. That should do the trick as far as an earthy, tea-like flavor

There's a Kolsch by Founder's - the name escapes me - that is fused with chamomile.

I liked it more than the Stone Green Tea IPA. It has a stronger tea taste.

Bottle Logic Green Jade IPA - it's a lighter, smoother version of Stone's Green Tea
Stone's Mixtape Vol. 12 Rhymes w/E-Bag IPA - Pale Ale & IPA blend brewed with tea... light hops, malty, lemon and tea taste.

Not sure what beer you bought, but in the US the primary Tetley-branded beer (brewed by Carlsberg, imported by St. Killians) is called Tetley's Smooth Flow English Ale (in a nitro can) and it is not a "classic English mild". Very few UK milds are exported to the US.

The brand name is a nice twist on the topic, however, and probably does confuse some Americans.:grinning:

Wiseacre out of Memphis has a seasonal (or maybe it was a one-off) pale ale that's brewed with Earl Grey. Draft only, however.

Fantom Magic Ghost has a pretty significant green tea presence. It also looks like Ecto Cooler or antifreeze.

The chai is bordering on overwhelming. It definitely is the main flavor of the beer, which is saying a lot coming from an RIS.

Yeah it's been a while since I've had it, swing and a miss on my part. Certainly got the tea flavor though

I second Marble Earl Grey IPA, it's one of my highest rated beers. It's a collab with Emelisse from Holland, although I don't see it on the Emelisse website anymore.[IMG]
