Technically a sour

    Nobody mentioned Lichtenhainer.

    All beers are sweet, bitter, & sour in some combination. Some are salty & umami, too.

    Sour isn't a style, it's a descriptor in the same way that sweet is.

    I find the best way to explain it is similar to fruit beers.

    Any beer can be a fruit (sour) beer by adding fruit (sour microbes) to it, but there's not way that an Apple, Mango, Passionfruit Ale (Lambic) is anything but a fruit (sour) beer.
