I am looking for a spot to pick up some pliney in Denver. Any advice? I am comming from Chicago and looking to buy a case. Also, got a Dark Lord I can bring if someone wants to trade for something.
Not picking up a case. Most places have a 2 bottle limit (they only get a case). Only see it once a month and it's usually towards the 3rd Friday of the month. Unfortunately it was this last weekend that stores got their delivery of it.
Yeah most places I buy it are only a single bottle limit now. There was a time when you could get a case, but it's too popular now and there's too much hype surrounding it. If you time it right you might be able to get some, good luck!
You should be able to pick up the other -ation beers right now. Most places are getting in Consecration and Sanctification. I know several places still have the others available also. Odell makes some great beers and Avery will be releasing their new BA series beer (Oud Floris) on Sunday.
No, not in my experience. Depending on what the shipments bring in you can typically find Redemption and Damnation fairly easily. Supplication, Consecration, Sanctification, and Salvation are around right now, too.
salvation and concecration are both on shelves right now, concecration was my personal fathers day present.
Unless you're leaving the fest early, you won't make the Avery release... but if you do, they've got several other specialty taps (Ross's Mom, Sour Reverend, Sour Apple, Tweak?) that are also going to be pouring.
I just picked up a Pliny from Colorado Blvd Liquor Mart yesterday. Seems they still have a fair amount left, and 3 bottle limit.
