I have a couple bottles of Armand'4's and wanted to cellar them for an extended period of time. The wine fridge that I have (for whatever reason) maintains a temperature of 60 on the top shelf and 48 on the bottom shelf...those are the only two shelves that can fit the Armand bottles. I also have a closet that is 63-65 degrees. Which is the best choice? Is there a big difference with 48, 60, 63 degrees as long as its stable for the extended period of time?

Well as a general rule of thumb the warmer the temp, the faster it'll age. The colder the temp, the slower it will age. So I guess the answer to your question depends solely on how long your "extended" period of time is. Hope that helps.

    Cheers!

Thanks for the info! I'm hoping to try to keep 1or 2 aside for 5-10 years so not sure if that would recommend to have it in the 48 degree shelf or the 60 degree shelf...but either way it sounds like it shouldn't hurt the beer with these temperatures?

No it shouldn't do too much damage. Me personally, I'd go with the 60 degree shelf you mentioned.

    Cheers!

    5-10 years; I'd go with 48.

Maybe I'll put one on each shelf and go from there  Just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything obvious about one way or another.
