Temperature control = joy

    My fermentation chamber is going for its first run now. After one week I still have 58 bubbles per minute through the blow off tube. Old Rasputin clone with Wyeast 1272. I never had any sort of brew going this Strong after this much time regardless of yeast type, starter size, etc., etc.

    Also, my first Lager has now finished fermenting in my now temp controlled chest freezer. Hit a FG=1.009.

    I am a happy camper, and I give the credit to good temp control!!!

    Don't forget the D-rest :slight_smile:...congrats on the temp controller

    Many thanks for this! I didn't forget; I didn't know about it! It's on the way now, however.

    I've said it before, but I sincerely appreciate the advice and help from the folks on this forum.
