Temptation batch 4

The last few I traded (around when it came out) were for BCBCS '10. I thought that was pretty fair. I'd probably do it for Vanilla or 2 for Rare. Maybe 1 Temptation b4 for 2 Cherry Rye or whatever the flavors of the month are.

 

yeah my trade offers have been coming up crickets, as well. just had a friend bring one over the other week and it's drinking fantastic right now, too. bollocks.

 

I traded a Cherry Rye for one straight up back in January. Both sides was happy.

 

Yeah I was the other half of this trade and at the time felt I needed something bigger to get a Cherry, you were the only hit I got. I posted several ISO of Cherry with Temp B4 FT before I got a hit. I'm sure I'd have an inbox explosion if I did that today. Hope you enjoy it

I did Temp b4 for Cherry 1:1, probably could have gotten 2 Cherrys like you mentioned but I have no plans to ever drink any of the beer I have so I only need one to 'look at'.

BTW, before you respond, you could stop being so thin-skinned that I posted a funny article without knowing the guy it was written about. Don't shoot the messenger.

Anyway, going 1:1 with Cherry? That's pretty generous of you. I definitely wouldn't do that. But then, I was able to buy a handful of Cherrys when I was in Long Island, so... meh.

 

What was your ISO? I got one local.

Anyway, trading a 4-year-old bottle 1:1 for a current, much-larger release of lower ratings* is being overly generous. You can characterize it as "winning" to ask for more, but at least there isn't an article about me saying I don't even drink my beer. Cheers!

*The overall ratings are the same, but since it seems to be the consensus that batch 4 is the best, I figured the ratings for that one are much higher. Definitely assuming though.

I thought the article was great for the intended audience (which was not other beer traders). Too bad that aspect of a story seems lost on some people...

 

Wasn't offended - that's why I called it "funny." You seemed quite pissy in the thread and had it deleted... Plus, you responded to my unrelated post today to bring it up again. So yes, I would call you thin-skinned.

On topic, this batch is drinking great, and it would take something pretty special to get my last bottle. I think the main problem is that there aren't going to be too many people out there with any left FT.

 

What's your end game when you call out another BA you don't even know by posting only part of an article in an attempt to portray him in a negative light?

On topic as well here, you can still order Batch 4 Temptation for in house consumption at City Beer Store. Sometimes at Toronado as well.

 

Yeah, I got mine from Toronado. It showed up a few times in a row, but afaik they haven't had it to go since the last Cable Car release.
