Doubtful. It's come and gone from pretty much everywhere. Grab some Balcones Barrel Aged Sasquatch if you can - it's a better beer in my opinion.

 

Have to respectfully disagree with this opinion. I drain poured the BBA Sasquatch. One of my least favorite beers to date.

To each his own! I haven't had it bottled yet, so hopefully it isn't much different from the batch that came out last October/November. I'd gladly take it off your hands!

What did you not like about the BA Sasquatch? I've heard nothing but hype about this everywhere.

I'll chime in with my 2 cents. The biggest difference with it compared to the majority of BA stouts is that Sasquatch was aged in Balcones barrels. These are nothing like bourbon barrels. They're more like scotch barrels so they impart more of a smokey flavor. I wasn't a fan of it at first but it got a little better as I neared the bottom of my glass. Personally, I wouldn't buy it again.

 

As @brock125 mentioned above, the taste was quite peaty and not reminiscent of other BA Stouts I've enjoyed. I also thought the beer had a very strong coffee flavor, but not in a pleasant way -- it tasted as if someone had poured warm, flat Coke into my coffee.

 

FWIW, I was a huge fan of Balcones Sasquatch and I don't like smoky beers very much at all.

ironic...I stumbled across one (the last) at a local tom thumb today. bring down some chicago goods and you can have it.

I'll save the sasquatch review for later...but the fact that it's not bourbony sweetish sounds intriguing...and i've heard from too many people that have decent beer palates that it is great.

I think a few places around DFW might have it on tap as well.

 

Social House Addison is the only place on Taphunter that has it.
