    I had a 13 a few weeks back with a 14. I swear They where both different beers the 13 was chocolaty smooth and fruity
    where the 14 was much roastier and bitter. Both where great and i was amazed what the time did.

    Pop one now. If you love it, drink the other soon. If you think it could stand to benefit with further time, sock the other away in your cellar and a year from now, revisit the thought of drinking it.

    If you are interested in the effects of aging beer, I highly recommened Vintage Beer by patrick Dawson. He does a great job of breaking down the chemical changes that happen to beer flavors over time, and he does it in an easy to understand way. He also tells you how to decide if a beer is worth cellaring based on its fresh flavor profile, and an idea of how it may end up tasting after aging. He also does a few case studies, tasting several vintages of each beer. Very informative and a fun read at the same time.
