I just love ten fidy. It's dark, thick, and sweet. The only thing that I've had that I found reminiscent was gatherer. I know that there has to be more out there.

I find Founders Imperial Stout quite bitter from roastiness, not sure it is what the OP is looking for

I honestly haven't had fis. I'm sure that it's good. I just imagine that it's closer to old rasputen than ten fidy.

Have to go with what Hoos said. I was thinking Founders Imperial Stout when I read the heading

Founders Imperial & Even More Jesus are my gotos (in addition to Ten Fidy).

Founders Imperial Stout is the closest thing to Ten Fidy in my experience, slightly more impressive even, IMO.

I would second Brooklyn black chocolate and add narwhal

I'd agree with some of the answers above. None will be clones, but they are big, chewy, explosively flavored stouts. I'm only listing easy to find and widely distributed stouts. My recommendations:

Even More Jesus by Evil Twin-many of their big stouts/porters fit the bill
    Bell's Expedition
    Founders RIS
    Clown Shoes Blaecorn Unidragon

Not as viscous, but still very flavorful:
    Great Divide Yeti-any variant
    North Coast Old Rasputin

Come to think of it...Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti might be the closest I've had.

As suggested by others, Even More Jesus takes the cake.

Even more Jesus seems like a close bet for sure.

    Also yeti

That comparison is on point. It's much closer to Old Rasputin than Ten Fidy

Even more Jesus for sweetness and Founders imperial for roastiness. Bells Expedition is too boozy out of the gate but with a year of age it's golden and best of both worlds.

:astonished: Maybe, if BOMB! didn't have coffee, cacao nibs, vanilla beans and chili peppers, you could compare it then. We are talking about unflavored Russian Imperial Stouts here.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the OP was asking for Imp. Stouts (American, English, Russian) that are dark, thick, and sweet, right? Does his post say anything about the fact that they're only looking for unflavored Russian Imperial Stouts? Also, Ten Fidy is not a RIS according to Oskar Blues' website.
