TBH the only TenFIDY I had was aged 1 year (from a trade). I thought it was less than impressive. So maybe I will try the 4 pack from this year and give it a go.

I like it better with a year on it.

I just drank a 2013 and it was not very good. Will be trying my 2014 soon but I am thinking fresh is the best.

I'm interested to know why you think this. I'm not saying it gets 'better' because taste is subjective, but I have had the same aged Ten Fidy's that you have and each time I found the beer very good. They weren't incredibly different from fresh, but they also were not substantially worse.

I think the age just brings out difference flavors in this beer. Fresh it is dark and fairly bitter, but with more age I tend to get more chocolate and the bitterness morphs into a subtle, tobacco-like flavor.

It does not have a better overall taste to me after aging. Some stouts do, but I don't find that to be true with TenFidy. It does change slightly, but it loses the overall "pop" of each flavor. It's a hop heavy beer and like an IPA, I think the fade of the hops causes it to lose some luster. I just find it's a waste money and time aging it.

Fair enough! I enjoy it fresh and also enjoy it after a year or two. I was mostly curious.
