8% ABW will be about 10% ABV. I CANNOT WAIT for this to take effect!!! Hopefully it will bring even more brands to the TN market. Getting the beer tax changed and allowing liquor stores to sell any ABV beer has already had a significant impact on the number of breweries that distribute here. It can only get better!

Not sure I would say that you can't get IPA/DIPA here, atleast in TN. Most of the distribution issues are due to the taxes. Yes we don't get Ballast Point, but still plenty of good IPA's you can get at good bottle shops.

I think I have 4 bottles left. Plan on drinking them though unless someone really wants it.

A few Tennessee comments as I travel to the Nashville area monthly for work...

Yazoo Deux Rouges is still on the shelf at the HG Hill grocery store north of Nashville in Pleasant View ($25/bottle). They update their list on beermenus.com very frequently and do growler fills as well. Last time I was there they had Bearded Iris.

Astronaut Status is ridiculously awesome. I traded for a bottle and it is worth seeking out.

Blackstone Black Belle Stout is also excellent. Albeit thinner, I thought the smell/taste were close to BCBS. This is still on shelves all over Nashville and surrounding areas.

    Cheers!
