We will be attending an off-road event in late April and staying at Elkmont Campground in Smokies NP.

Any recommended breweries / brewpubs in that area or near Townsend? Dog friendly needed, open to most styles. Will also likely be over near Olive Springs for Windrock Park.

I see there is Peaceful Side in Townsend. I've never been but see they have another location opened in nearby Maryville.
If you are on your way to Oliver Springs, be sure to stop by Xul in Knoxville. Hands down one of the best breweries in TN, possibly the South. They have a 2nd location in Hardin Valley (West Knox) about 25 minutes from Windrock.
I go out to Windrock several times a year and always make a point to take the extra trek to Xul.

Townsend has The Abbey. Not a a brew pub but a dozen or so taps of local beers and good food. If the weather is decent there's a patio and tables overlooking the river that makes for a nice place to enjoy the world.
