In the past few weeks, Nashville has gotten Lonerider and Red Hare. Next up in March is New Holland. After that is Dogfish Head and Founders. Does anyone else know who else is coming soon? I heard Deschutes is a maybe, and that Bells might come next year, pending available warehouse space at Bounty Bev.

I thought Bells wouldn't come until we addressed the high gravity/low gravity split (which might be happening soon) as they wanted all of their products displayed together. I would love to see the Bruery, 21st Amendment, Uinta, and Great Lakes just to name a few.

I would love to see Allagash here in the state... they do domestic Belgians better than anyone IMO and I'd love to be able to pick their stuff up... I like Great Lakes a lot as well...

I had figured Deschutes would be along shortly after making an appearance at the beer festival in Nashville last year(?). Got my fingers crossed.

I would like to see Good People try to expand out of Nashville, but I assume that's more of a brewery supply/demand related issue than distribution.

According to this beer law blog, liquor stores can begin to sell beer on July 1st of this year ending the split.

The guys at Good People are brewing flat out at present and barely meeting demand, sadly for y'all :-/

I had a feeling that would be the case. Good for them, and Birmingham(grew up there) though.

Also under the radar...Country Boy is coming to Nashville with Bounty Bev. Excellent brewery so excited about that.

Is there any update on Dogfish Head? Looks like Founders might beat them here.

Last I heard is that they were still hammering out distribution rights. When a brewery signs a contract with a distributor in TN for high gravity, it's considered for life. When they come back in to TN after pulling out, I imagine that it's a lot of red tape and legalities to deal with.

I'm not sure how, or if it will matter in the future going forward now that all beer will be sold together in liquor stores--and eventually grocery stores. I'm sure a lot of breweries will start looking real hard at TN from now on.

I hope Boulevard is coming to TN soon. Would love to have access to Tank 7.

I remember when I moved here in 2006 we still had access to Boulevard. They've probably been gone for at least 5 years now. Would absolutely love for them to come back.

Considering their recent purchase, I wouldn't be surprised to see them expanding their distro in the next couple years.

I miss those guys too... One of those breweries that I didn't really realize I bought that much of until I couldn't get it...

Founders is coming to TN? When did that happen?

It is still happening. No distributor yet for Founders in TN, so as far as I'm concern, I'll believe it when I see it.

Meantime, New Holland is coming so there's that!

Agreed... when that truck carrying Founders to those southern states actually stops here instead of driving through TN, I will believe the hype... sorry to be cynical but.... I am excited about having New Holland as an offering though... I've had a few brews from them and they are solid...

The high gravity/low gravity split is essentially going away 7/1. I'm hoping Bells will be here relatively soon.

The split in the liquor stores maybe, but unfortunately not grocery

Right. I read the bill the other day, and my understanding was that if you have a liquor retail license, you can sell low-gravity beer as of 7/1/14. It doesn't flow the other way (beer retail license = sell high-gravity beer). I think that basically solves the Bells (purported) problem, though.
