Terrapin Cinnamon Roll’d Wake-n-Bake

This isn't addressed to anyone in particular but what's the difference? People showed up early so they started handing out tickets. If you showed up at six and they handed tickets out then, you still would have been shut out. Show up earlier next time.

 

I wasn't really bashing HopCity. Just stated that I'm happy to see them try to do SOMETHING to appease people by moving it back after people get off, but the point is, limited releases will be this way in this starved portion of the country. Not much to go around, and there's plenty of people with idle time to stand around waiting for releases times.

All it really did was make people wait that much longer for it. Hope you got your bottle!

 

So, anyone actually drinking these or just hoarding them up for trade?

 

I got one bottle, I'm gonna drink mine. Someone on the southside of town here bought a whole case and ran off with it from a store that didn't know/didn't care what they had. Hope he drinks them or shares at a bottle share, but in the end, it's just beer and not some high dolla' commodity.

I wanted more to send to trading partners, but meh, it is what it is!

 

Can't wait for the hipsters and beer hoarders to fucking leave. Hurry up and die craft beer fad.

 

I drank mine last night. Very good, but a little on the sweet end for me. This one is going to be very hard to come by.

 

yeah, tasted like they added some lactose or something to it with the cinnamon. Wasn't overpowering other than the smell of it over the normal WnB. Not a bad one, but ehh, again, not worth the run around.

I'll be waiting for them to try some barrel aging next. Maybe people will be over the hangover of a limited release GA beer by then.

 

the few times i've had their bourbon BA wake-n-bake it was phenomenal. i've had it at the porter (mislabeled as regular wake-n-bake a few months back) and in athens a few times. i think the ones i had were in 4 roses barrels? they did it proper.

 

Barrel aged wake n bake was boozy as hell. I gave my glass away.

 

Anyone know when this is hitting Tampa?

once again I walk into total and see bottles while being told they're sold out. These managers are hoarding shit and it's getting really annoying.

 

NESales is running CR out to Athens as of this morning. Looks to be similar case counts as WCMH was.

 

A couple of bars in Fort Lauderdale just posted this afternoon that they have bombers for sale: Laser Wolf and Tap42. Don't know what the prices are because you're paying bar prices, but I can guess that it's probably like $10 cheaper at Laser Wolf than Tap42!

 

I got a few bottles, drank one...stuff is good. Too sweet for me though.

total wine in boca, fl got it today. i managed to leave work and grab a bottle. it looked like only 1 case. when i grabbed mine the clerk said there was none left

 

Got a taste of the draft at an event tonight . It was good but not worth the frenzy IMO. Spike said he was amazed by the craziness over this.
