At least Sam's and Tasty got it yesterday and sold it.

 

Hops and Grapes in Hickory had some yesterday evening…not sure if it's sold out now though.

 

Bestway will sell their allotment at their Terrapin release party from 3-6 today.

 

Yep. already done and gone in the triad. BW is doing some sort of raffle for it today.

 

The big win on today is WC Moo-hoo growler fills.

Thursday the 19th at Tasty they will have it on tap as well as several other variants.

 

So Bestway required you to purchase a Terrapin six pack or four pack in order to enter a drawing to have the chance to buy a bottle of Cinnamon Roll'd WNB... what do you guys think about that?

 

Bestway is top notch... Roger is a good guy... cinnamon w-n-b was super limited... I find this completely acceptable.

 

I'm not implying anything that would contradict this. I've just never been presented with a situation where I had to buy something to enter a contest to buy something else.

You make it sound like I'm insulting the place for asking an opinion on it. Bestway is literally the only place I've ever heard of doing a bottle release like this, and I wanted to know what others thought about the method.

You asked what "we" thought about it. I merely gave my opinion.

 

I don't know that a purchase was required (although I did purchase a 32 oz. growler of White Chocolate Moo Hoo - which had an incredible nose, but that flavor never came through on the tongue) to get in the lottery. Since I never got a phone call, I assume I didn't get choosed. Anyway, it seems as fair a way as any for distributing 12 lone bombers. Cheerz from RedNeckBeerz

 

Personally, I think it is a shitty idea. Buy a 4/6 pack with a unknown chance at getting another beer? Great money making idea but no way would I do it.

I am not into buying beers I don't want just to get a beer I do want. Maybe if they had a "buy any 4/6 pack, get a chance". But hey, its a free economy and I am sure they sold a crapload of Terrapin shelf turds.

 

I don't have a problem with it as long as the advertising stayed in print media. Many bottle shops may not even put bottles out on the floor and only offer it to their top customers. I'd take more WnB.
