Terrapin Hi-Five Canning Date?

    Please dont tell me terrapin uses a Best By date. I just bought a six pack out of excitement not seeing the date on the box. But once I pulled out a can it said, 9 / 5 / 14! If thats the case its already around 2 months past its prime.

    I just wanted to update this thread since Terrapin has finally started putting dates on the box. The box of HI-5 that I just bought reads as follows:

    "EXP 11 15 15
    15183 184"

    I'm not sure what the bottom line means, but I'm happy that they've started putting dates on the boxes.

    15183 = 183rd day of 2015 = July 2nd
