Terrapin Mega Update

Don't worry, I'll experience similar joys if it ever comes to the ATL....

 

Raleigh has gotten brutal if you have a job...and I'm admittedly pretty good about keeping an eye on things and trying to be in the right place.

 

Well the beer selection at the Cotswold Teeter is well above and beyond any other Teeters. Whoever runs it does a hell of a job with the selection. My guess is that Tryon was throwing the beer manager there a bone for the business.

saw on untappd someone drinking it off the keg in boca...forgot where...it's there somewhere

 

BX Beer Depot in Lake Worth got a case of it today. Not sure if still in stock

 

Another heads up on kegs in Orlando, Oblivion looks to be tapping their keg of it tomorrow afternoon if you missed Redlight's tapping on Monday.

 

Does anyone know if its in Alpharetta? My brother ( BMC drinker) lives there and I would like him to pick me up a bottle. Any shops carrying it?

 

Just picked up 2 bottles from Mega Discount Liquors in Parkland thanks to Brown.com. They have 7 bottles left and look to be the only spot in So. Fla. that has it currently, according to Brown anyway

Anybody else feel like this was a major letdown. Didn't get much white chocolate at all, couldn't tell much difference between this and regular moo hoo. Maybe my other bottle will be better? Until then I'll be happy sippin on these WnB's.

Green's on Ponce says they will release by 4 if they have it today. I'm going to skip this one; with the Atlanta release delay and the early reviews it's looking like a somewhat over-hyped, under-performing Terrapin release. I was at Hop City on Friday and was told it hit the Warehouse on Thursday and the distributor didn't want to release it on a Friday. Not sure how 5 PM on a Monday is any better. This whole thing has been mishandled.

 

It was around in a few spots OTP Friday. It seemed to me a slightly more chocolately version of Moo Hoo with a bit more body. It was fine but a bit overhyped to me, especially at the $9.99 I paid for it.
