Terrapin Mega Update

I expect it to be.. Thursday or Friday around Atlanta when it hits. Seems like today could have been likely, but I'm sure the stores would have an idea when it would be coming, and on what truck shipment too.

Exactly, the big guys here in the ATL know when their shipments are coming and usually plan accordingly. The fact that we haven't heard anything yet leads me to believe it'll be later in the week OR allocations for our area will be bigger than we've anticipated (though I'm not holding my breathe on option two).

 

If Columbia is getting enough where they can give a 2 bottle limit I think ATL will be fine... all speculation of course.

 

I can feel you guys' pain. I'd be real agitated if something from Westbrook or Quest in my state started showing up in Georgia before my own local store. Makes no sense at all.

Pimpin - Just purchased a bottle at TW on Stratford. Asked where it was - no one knew. Then I went with the associate and we "found" the case of choc moo hoo on top of other cases at the top of a aisle. She said how many do you want? Crap - I could have bought the whole case.

 

Well shit, I was there at 4 today and they said they had none. I'll try to hit it up tomorrow. Hope they still have some

 

Don't forget FL...I guess Savannah counts as GA but seriously, Terrapin's home town and it's closest/likely biggest market still hanging on? Dumb.

So for folks that have tasted it, I don't want to sound negative but were you a little underwhelmed? I had it last night and it's a slightly sweeter tasting Moo Hoo. That's not to say it's bad, Moo Hoo is outstanding, but I guess I was hoping for a more forward taste.

 

orlando has already blown through a few kegs at at least 3 different bars...i'd be surprised if SoFla and Tampa didn't find it somewhere too. Bottle shop wise though I'm not sure...though I hope it hits here first
