ASAP...its a milk stout. Depth charge has pretty much been the only exception I know of that is known to age well. If you can find WnB do a Wake n Moohoo, its very good. Someone recommended it some time ago in another thread and I tried it this weekend. Its really good.

Yeah, I wouldn't age Moo Hoo. It doesn't have the ABV or the body for it. I also would not have aged Depth Charge this long - the coffee was so bright fresh, whatever is left must be a shell of it's former self.

I am going to buck the trend here. I typically buy two cases, drink the first within the first month and then let the second sit for a few months. Did that last year and wow, actually loved it in the summer months more than fresh, planning on doing the same this year. It became an easy drinking session beer.

Yep, Its fucking awesome I'm actually buying more moohoo tomorrow to make more. It keeps the coffee but adds the milk stout qualities...fucking good!

Shit that sounds awesome. The only reason I wouldn't do it is because I'm obsessed with Wake n Bake and wouldn't want to sacrifice 1 for an experiment. But it does sounds quite delicious...

Can you not still buy it? Last year outside of GA WnB lasted into June easily. Haven't heard of this year though.

There's actually 1 place in my area that still has around a case left. But I have limited $$ and there are so many new releases that I can't buy it all up right away!

But if I get this summer job I'm after, then Wake n Bake in my belly! Or fridge/cellar, whichever is preferred.

Are you asking how rare it is? I mean MooHoo is quite easy to get. It's a winter beer, and it's still around in several stores near me. I think one recently marked it down, in fact.

There may not be a ton of 2011 MooHoo around, but that's because most people prefer it fresh.
