I work for the wholesaler in Pittsburgh that distributes Terrapin. I can confirm these beers made it to Pittsburgh. Moohoochiato went out this past week. And the Pumpkin Pie Porter was another story..that was a month+ ago and our company got 11 cases total to cover the Pittsburgh area. So I'm not surprised at all that you didn't see it anywhere.

I know of one distributor who got a case and I saw bottles at Caliente almost 20 bucks a bottle.

I grabbed one at Giant Eagle and a friend also brought one over. Way over priced. Very good, but really? I won't be buying this again. Get a life Terrapin. You think way too much of your products......

Had this on draft at Terrapin Saturday night and it is delicious! Ironically enough, Creature Comforts had just tapped Koko Buni at their taproom, which tastes almost identical to MooHooChiato but with added toasted coconut. So, dark, chocolatey & roasty flavors, heavy on the coffee, but with the CC Koko with that added hit of coconut. Both are very, very good, but the CC offering is by and large the better of the two in my opinion. Keep on the look out for that one if they ever release it 'widespread'. (This won't be for a long time, Creature Comforts are just now set to release their first two offerings to market, Athena, their Berliner Weisse and Tropicalia, their way tropical fruit IPA...will be Athens-only releases to start, spreading to ATL in another month or so...keep an eye out, CC beers are a real treat!)

I'm just not the biggest fan of Creature Comfort, though I haven't tried the coffee beers yet and I hear they are delicious. Next time I am in Athens I'll be making my way over.

Just talked to my local beer guy, his distributer told him, that this isn't available in my part of SC yet, but will be soon, and he's only getting a case....looks like I have another Thanksgiving beer!!!!

Terrapin sure does take a beating any time they release these beers.

If they'd make better beers that wouldn't happen.

I am not even sure that is the case.

Seems like they take a beating regardless.

Like people seem to go out of their way to slam all Terrapin beers when they dont like one beer.

WAY overpriced. Foodery? Try Monde Market; 13.99 per bottle. They only had a few left and was a 1 bottle limit.

I'm not sure how long you've been drinking Terrapin's beers, but their mediocre reputation is well earned. Most of the Side Projects before the Tenth and Blake investment were disasters. Their seasonals are hit and miss, with Wake n Bake being the only real standout, and for most of their stuff there are better alternatives on the shelf, often at equivalent or better price points.

They seem to be the Flying Dog of the South.

(I'm not impressed by either brewery myself).
