Terrapin Mosaic Consistency?

    Just wondering what everybody has been encountering with this beer.

    The first 2 I had, 1 single I bought, and 1 single that was given to me where amazing hoppy pineapple bombs.

    The next 3 I had from a four pack I bought were absolutely forgettable.

    The last one I had from the same four pack was somewhere in between.

    Maybe mosaic hops are insanely volatile? Who knows.

    Did you check the bottle date? Maybe the 4-pack you bought later was a month or two after bottling and the flavors have started to fall off.

    I remember when this was in bombers last year it fell off real quick but damn was it good at first

    Let's make sure we understand... you had 2 bottles of it that were memorable "pineapple bombs," then the next 3 bottles you drank weren't as memorable? That's because you were drunk, dummy.

    Assuming you aren't just being funny, he didn't say they were all drank on the same day. I actually noticed this exact same thing with 2XOne, which is also Mosaic. I thought when I first tried it, it was eye opening. Just had it again last week from a keg and it was fine, but certainly not as good.
