http://beerstreetjournal.com/terrapin-rye-cubed/ At 10.3% ABV, big is an understatement. Terrapin Rye Cubed will be “destroying palates from Athens to Tokyo” in June, 2014. Loved Rye Squared. Can't wait for this one.
wonder how much this one will be...seems like hop karma and oaked hoppy monster sits on shelves here in florida for weeks..and i think part of it is due to prices.
Thats an understatement. They are trying to revamp their line this year. Hi-5 is a new West coast IPA they will be canning. Adding a Belgian Black IPA to the monster line up with the Rye Cubed, Hopzilla and WnB. Bringing back WCMH, and CRWnB, and doing a barrel aged Pumpkin Porter... Some new side projects as well.
Didn't know about the hi-5 or BA pumpkin porter, I'll has to look into those. Though a lot of terripans stuff is hit or miss for me, and more than often miss sadly
It's not bad. It's not something I go to that often, once a year, usually draft. It's retired, so if you want to try it, get it before it goes away.
Definitely ISO!!!...Anyone looking for any good IL or WISC brews BM me. Looking for reg. Moo Hoo, W & B and if possible Cinnamon Toast or White Chocolate Moo Hoo.
We just got their Side Project #21, Pineapple Express. A smoked pineapple helles lager. They also just bumped down the ABV on Mosaic and are packaging it in 12oz. bottles.
Regular MooHoo, and WnB are out now, won't be around too terribly much longer I don't think. WCMH and CRWnB were gone in 30 seconds, so you'll have to wait about another 11 months before the others come out. I'll keep ya in mind, I'd love some New Glarus or 3F!
I haven't seen the side project, but it doesn't sound like something I'd want. Might get one to try anyways. Mosaic in 12oz bottles is a damn good thing, IMO. I thought it was a great red rye ipa.
