Quick question to those with more knowledge. Are any Texas beers distributed in the areas The West forum serves?
Yeah had a long talk with my daughter..she is outraged by Texas..just wanted to be sure i wasnt drinking any Texas beer..Shiner..no way i would buy that crap. Shit better make sure my Rainier isnt made in the New Gilead!!
So you do not want to drink ANY beer from Texas because of all the old white men there keeping the non whites from voting and women from having control of their bodies? I would not want to drink any Texas beer because most of it is uninspired swill.
Weathered Souls- Created the Black is Beautiful beer movement. Jester King- large farmhouse brewery. Do goat yoga. Offered to give my special-needs kids a tour of the animals. Around since 2007. Several beers on the top 250. Live Oak- world class hefe and lager program. Been in business 24 yrs. They’ve been fighting with customers refusing to wear face masks all pandemic. This is just 3 off the top of my head. I hope you can deduce the point I am making.
(Stares at ceiling. Scratches head. Stares at ceiling some more. Scratches head again.). You mean like maybe don't paint with too broad a brush? I'm no more happy with the new Texas legislation than @Reidrover, but guilt by association is always a difficult road to traverse. Notwithstanding the ill thought out new law, there are plenty of good people living in Texas (my nephew and his wife live in Austin), and plenty of good beer made there as well. My hope is that it's new laws such as this that will continue to change the political climate in Texas, and perhaps come next election Texas residents will decide that enough is enough. Time will tell.
I misread the intent of this post at first—since I’ve seen BiB and JK beers in CA—and thought Live Oak now distros out here too?!? Alas, no…
