Well that wasn't too bad. I can now pick up my mug club card while getting my Assassin. So I get a discount on the growler of Smores Assassin?

 

In at 11am, immediately into que for about 10-12 minutes, sold out. Oh well, win some lose some.

 

I kept having problems as well but friend was able to score us tickets.
Pretty excited!

 

This will be my first visit to the new facility. Stoked to check out the release and hopefully have a few good beers on tap. I’ve been shut out sooo many times for their events so nice to finally get through. Ya win some and ya lose some.

 

Best Friday Share? Best Assassin Eve Bar?

 

Haven't been to Decorah since 2016 MD release. Where are the best places to go for beer shares/food/etc? Does Courtyard and Cellar still do their share?

 

Random Etix question... This is my first time heading to a TG release and I just received my tickets via email. On the tickets it states who purchased them but I don't see a way to verify the names associated with the two individual tickets. I just want to make sure I didn't mess that up during the checkout process (I did enter full names and emails for me and the person using the second ticket). I'm just always a bit anxious about that stuff. Any advice for me? Much appreciated.

 

Mine are the same. Last fall for MD they wound up sending the tickets a second time that had both names on them. Here is the ETix support email [email protected]. That is where I checked, waiting to hear back.

 

Same for mine, both under my name but I purchased one for my wife. I wondered the same thing.

 

I am also interested in any such events, would like to know if I should look at a specific hotel or other reservations.

 

Haven't seen any advertisements for assassin eve events yet. Winneshiek hotel is walking distance to all the events that generally have something, and did for MD. For MD, people at the Super 8 and Marriot had shares if I remember correctly. For MD, Pulpit Rock also planned a release but it looks like they're having BA cake walk a few weeks before. Either way, should be fun and I'm hoping for no snow/ice!

 

This is what I just heard back from them:

Tickets will print with only the purchaser's name. Please note, no name changes are allowed. Ticket holders must bring photo IDs (and tickets) to the event. If you need further assistance, please reply to this email.

 

That doesn't seem helpful. How is anybody going to verify who the second ticket holders are?

 

They said the same thing initially during the MDb5 ticket release. But they resolved it eventually. Lets hope the same thing happens this time.

 

How would anyone have a spot available? Names had to be provided upon purchase.

 

If someone has someone that can’t go anymore or if they double entered a name. It was said that they could be edited on a case by case basis.

 

I’m pretty sure it said NO changing of names on tickets.
