hi guys, Planning a road trip featuring Tired Hands, Hudson Valley, Equilibrium and Other Half at the end of june. Will be in Philadelphia/Ardmore on the wesdnesday and thursday but wondering what is the best way to get the most cans at HV/EQ/OH. Thought about going to Hudson first as they sometimes release cans on friday... If that is not the case though, which one should I go first on saturday? What city is best to stay in terms of bars, things to see? Never been to Beacon or Middletown. Tips and suggestions welcomed. Thanks in advance for the help! Cheers.
Dude, traveling fromfrom Ca to anywhere in the New England/Mid-Atlantic area will get you some great beer. Just start traveling and stop at places along the way and well as on the way back.
Should be able to hit a can release at Tired Hands since they are usually on Wednesday’s. Enjoy your trip!

Ok - gotcha. Can’t help with those much. But if you are looking for anything else in PA - check out Hidden River in Douglassville, they make some really good stuff. Don’t think they open until Thursday though.
Would agree that Hidden River is a must. Great beer; great atmosphere. About 45 minutes west of Ardmore. Worth the drive.
It really depends when you are coming and what the release schedule is. HVB seems to do one monthly Friday and one monthly Saturday release. OH does a weekly Saturday release with an occasional mid week release. EQ does a weekly Saturday release. If you come on a week where all 3 have a saturday release and you want to maximize cans, be at the front of the line at OH, head to HVB then to EQ.
Thanks @cloudyy That’s what I wanted to know. Easier for us to get to Beacon/Middletown first though so let’s hope Hudson does a can release. If not, I’ll get crowlers on friday then to EQ for the saturday release and hope there is still some cans left at OH when I get there a bit later on saturday. Thank you for the help. OH has been doing a lot of double batches so your odds of getting cans anytime saturday are pretty high, especially if youre there in the early-mid afternoon.
